Lemongrass (Cymbopogon Citratus) is a fast-growing, tall, aromatic perennial edible grass. Its name is derived from the typical lemon-like odor of its essential oil. Native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia.

Lemongrass has been used traditionally for medicinal, cosmetic, and culinary purposes. It is used in various parts of the world for its taste, aroma, and therapeutic properties.
