Rosemary Essential Oil

Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis) is a dense, aromatic shrub with thin branches and spike-like green leaves with grayish undersides and blue flowers. The plant was termed 'dew of the sea' due to its salty texture and ability to thrive in coastal climate. Rosemary has been an important herb since the time of the early Greeks and Romans. Greek scholars often wore a garland of the herb on their heads as it was believed to strengthen the memory.

It is sourced from Spain and is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a fresh camphor-like aroma. Its strong, pungent fragrance and therapeutic properties make it a favorite with perfumers and aroma-therapists.
